21-year-old Lutendo Raduvha has spent the bulk of his life moving between different townships on the outskirts of Johannesburg and Pretoria in the Gauteng province. He makes Amapiano music that reflects those influences.

This is my first foray into amapiano music. The only thing I can say is that it is highly danceable. The best way I have to describe it is to consider it as a sort of slowed down house music, with a lot of South African influences, and MCs on top. There is a tension in this music that never really releases, but is also what makes it so groovy.
